These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of Trill Sound’s websites, applications, and related services (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
You are responsible for activity under your account and for maintaining access to the email address used to sign in. Trill Sound uses passwordless sign-in links. You may not use another person’s account or interfere with the security or operation of the Services.
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required to consent to online services where you live. If you use the Services for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
You retain ownership of the projects, audio, artwork, prompts, and other material you provide through the Services (“Your Content”). You grant Trill Sound a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and deliver Your Content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Services and to provide sharing features you choose to use.
You represent that you have the rights necessary to upload, process, and share Your Content. Do not upload or share material that infringes copyright, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights.
Connecting a local folder permits supported browser features to read files on your device. Local Logic projects are parsed on your device unless you explicitly use a sharing or upload feature. When you share a Logic project, Trill Sound creates and stores a limited preview model and, if you choose, associated preview audio and artwork. The original Logic project bundle and unrelated project media are not included in that share.
When you enable “anyone with the link,” anyone who receives or discovers the link may view the shared preview. Optional passwords limit access through Trill Sound but cannot prevent an authorized viewer from capturing or redistributing material they can access. You are responsible for selecting appropriate sharing settings and recipients.
You may disable sharing or delete your account, but previously downloaded or independently copied material may remain with recipients. Cached copies may take a limited time to expire.
You may not:
We may remove content or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, Trill Sound, service providers, or the public, or to comply with law.
The Services may link to or process content through third-party services. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Trill Sound is not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their content.
Trill Sound and its software, designs, trademarks, and non-user content are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the Services; they do not transfer ownership of Trill Sound technology.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. Logic project parsing and repair features operate on complex third-party file formats and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Keep independent backups and verify repaired or exported projects before relying on them.
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRILL SOUND DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE.
TRILL SOUND DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPATIBLE WITH EVERY PROJECT, PLUGIN, FILE, DEVICE, OR VERSION OF THIRD-PARTY SOFTWARE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRILL SOUND WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, PROJECTS, OR GOODWILL ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRILL SOUND’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TRILL SOUND FOR THE SERVICES DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so portions of these sections may not apply to you.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify Trill Sound from claims, damages, and expenses arising from Your Content, your misuse of the Services, or your violation of these Terms or another person’s rights.
You may stop using the Services or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, security risk, legal requirement, or material harm to the Services or others. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
We may update these Terms. We will post the revised date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
